Emerging Leaders Conference 2015

Bench Strength: Building the Black Leadership Talent Bench

Black Agency Executives' Emerging Leaders Conference is a forum for leaders of African descent new to executive leadership or identified as having the ability and interest to step into executive leadership in their organizations. The goals of the conference are to identify the next generation of Black nonprofit leadership, expose these leaders to successful nonprofit executives and to important lessons they've learned, offer new perspectives on major issues affecting our sector and to strengthen the support of network and strategic alliances among Black emerging leaders.

Conference Overview
Can the "emerging leader" of today become tomorrow's nonprofit C-suite executive leader? People reinvent themselves all the time. They acquire new skills, tools, experiences, contacts, challenges and resources, and take on bigger and more complex challenges to progress their individual professional development and advance the organizations within which they contribute their time, talent and energy. To capitalize on this budding potential, organization stakeholders must collaborate and do the work to identify the true strategic, future-focused executive leader competencies they require for their emerging leaders to make the successful transition to key C-Suite Executives in their organizations.

Registration for Bench Strength: Building the Black Leadership Talent Bench is $35 for BAE members and $50 for non-members.
